Bordeaux has long been the world of polished brands, PR’ed, perfectly preened estates. Visit a producer, however, and it’s rare you’ll hear much about the soil that defines the wine. Now that’s changing – and Ch. Montrose has been putting it front and centre. I sat down with the team to find out more.
